There were some great visitors at the gala like the Class 45 which i haven't seen in the "flesh" before - though i had a model one once - and i managed to take a load of photos which you can see here.

CPRR Diesel Gala
I've got three diesel galas to visit in the space of 7 days, plus a trip to the National Railway Museum next week. So lets start with gala #1 at the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway. I really like visiting the CPRR preserved line which straddles the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border - my ancestral lands in the late 15th century (apparently) so thats why i feel at home!
